Sharks showed up in force last week and swam hard.
Every point counts so thanks to every swimmer to jumped into the pool and did their very best to swim hard and HAVE FUN!
HIGH POINT SWIMMERS:
|
Empty the change jar and check between the seats! We will have Penny Practice Tuesday morning! Send in pennies, dimes, nickels, quarters….
Friday will continue our Sweets for Sharks tradition after morning practice. A super delicious way to end a week of swimming.
We are up against the Dalton Dolphins this week both away & at home! The Dalton pool is located at 904 Civic Drive, 30721, approximately 45 minutes from Stuart Heights, so please plan accordingly. Yes, it's a bit of a drive, but they will return the favor on Thursday. This is a perfect meet for carpooling, which saves gas and doubles the fun!
We do have some new volunteer spots that need to be filled. We cannot have a meet without our parent volunteers - so THANK YOU!

Meet Reminders:

- Sharks & their families wear RED! Swimmers should be in their team shirt, suit and cap. Replacement caps are $15 and shirts (kid L, adult S &M) are $20.
- Volunteers need to report by 5:00, Sign in Volunteer by 4:45. If you have not signed up to help, please do! We literally cannot have a swim meet without our volunteers.
- Little Sharks should gather at the meet flag during the meets so the Deck Parents can get them to the blocks on time.
- For home meets, StH will sit on the left side of the pool. Parking is premium but please be respectful to not block our neighbor’s driveways. StH United Methodist Church does allow us to use their lot for parking.
- Pool concessions will be open.
- Keep up the good sportsmanship & team spirit: Stay in the pool until everyone from the heat is finished. Shake hands with the swimmers on either side of you. Big kids should be at the edge of the pool to cheer on the Littles and little kids should cheer on the Bigs. GO SHARKS!
- As always, be prepared for fun chaos!
