    6.17.22 - team photo & senior night

Congratulations to all Sharks for their hard work against Dalton!

While winning and earning points is super fun, it is very important to celebrate those tiny victories as well. Getting a new person to swim that first meet. A swimmer who is asked to “swim up” for a relay.  Cheering for your team when you really want to be in the heat. Earning a new time. All these little steps are important and we say CHEERS TO YOU for all the things that make summer swim awesome.

It's going to be an awesome, fun, busy week! Please read the following carefully:

We need your help with a few items of meet etiquette: Cheering is awesome when the swimmers are in the midst of a race but we need quiet at the start. Little Sharks should gather at the meet flag so the Deck Parents can get them to the blocks on time, and we still need parents to monitor their little people from afar to make sure they are being respectful and polite.

Swimmers must stay out of the pool (the dive area and kiddie pool also) during the meet. I know it’s hot and everyone wants to get in, and it's super weird to ask swimmers to stay out of the pool 🤪. Sharks should only be in the pool during their races. We appreciate your help with reminding your athletes of these points.

    Monday @home:

It’s a WHITE OUT! Wear white as we stay cool and concentrated for our second swim against Ooltewah. The Tidal Waves won City Meet last year and StH came in second. We want a SHARKS’ WIN THIS YEAR and we need to beat Ooltewah to make that happen.

    Wednesday @home:

The Sharks and the Greenies are HUGE rivals, and they always come to win. Be prepared for a tough battle and LOTS OF FUN! Definitely a time to represent with your RED SHARK SWAG!

It’s SENIOR NIGHT! We will honor our four graduating Sharks mid-meet. Please have all the swimmers sit at the pool’s edge and remail silent during the presentation.  It is an important tradition to the StH Sharks team, and we want to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our swimmers during their last home meet.
