7.6.22 - The Road to City Meet

    City Meet 2022

All the meet details can be found at the CASL website: event timeline, psych sheet, warmup schedule.

Heat Sheets and results will be posted on the Carpet Capital Aquatics Club site

Swimmers will continue to wear their StH team suit. Swim caps must be a StH cap, an Emily’s Power for a Cure cap or a solid colored cap. We will have a limited amount of StH caps for sell at the team tent, $15 new and $10 vintage caps, cash/check preferred.  Emily's Power for a Cure cap is available for $15 via cash, check or Venmo.

    City Meet Schedule

All other relays will be posted via Remind app during the meet. If you’ve not yet, please join @e7eh68. Rain delays are a strong possibility this weekend. We will communicate all weather related changes via Remind.

Any swimmer who does not scratch and fails to report to the blocks of a Final Event will cause their team to be fined $25 per instance. It is so important you return for finals if you qualify!

In the evening session, ALL swimmers in every age group (including alternates) should report to the Clerk of Course when the event is called so they can be paraded. Top seed swimmers may request a walk-out song.

You can see above why hard work is so important. Every point counts and the team with the most points wins! Have FUN and swim FAST!

We are in competition in more ways than one at City Meet his year. Donate now or bring your canned goods to the StH container at the CASL tent.  All food and money goes directly to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.  So far StH is in first place for most money raised!  Imagine what an impact we could have if every Shark family gave just a little bit. 💗

A reminder that our end of season celebration is Sunday, July 10 at the Stuart Heights pool, 6-9pm.  We still need two volunteers to help serve the food.  Also, please consider having your swimmer write/draw a thank you note to their coach.  It's a simple and super special way to show our appreciation to the coaches for their dedication to our team.

And what a great season we have had!  Thanks to all the swimmers & parents for being so awesome.  Let's finish strong and go for the gold at City Meet!
