    This week the StH Sharks showed up in force and swam hard. Thanks to all of our families for all the cheering, volunteering, and flexibility as we dove into the season.

    As we have said before, every second of improvement and every little point counts. Congratulations to all of our swimmers for their dedication to the sport.  We would like to recognize our high point winners for bringing home the gold this week!

    Empty the change jar and check between the seats! We will have Penny Practice Thursday morning.  Pennies, dimes, nickels, quarters…. the more coins the better and the more exciting the games will be.

    Calendar:

    • Today - RSVP for Monday’s meet. We still have a few volunteer spots open!
    • Regular practice Monday - Friday
    • June 12 - Home meet against Dalton - Find your inner force and deck out in STAR WARS as we challenge Dalton to a rematch
      • 4:30p StH Warm Up & volunteer check in
      • 5:30p Meet Starts
      • Truckin’Treats Food Truck available - new menu with Dole Whips, and a Kona Ice Truck to keep things cool.
    • June 15 - Bring your Pennies for Practice
    • June 16 - Doughnuts  A super sweet end to another awesome week.

    Other News:

    • Still waiting on our team shirt and 2023 swag order....  We will let you know as soon as your orders arrive and appreciate your patience.
    • We do have vintage caps, youth M & L, plus adult S & M shirts available for purchase for $5. If you have not yet grabbed a StH Shark magnet for your vehicles they are only $1 and a great way to support & advertise for our team. 
    • If you have not yet gotten your 2023 swim cap, please stop by the merchandise table to pick one up.
    • Huge thanks to everyone who purchased from our “closet clean out" last week. We raised over $250. That event plus our amazing sponsors allowed us to reserve the ginormous tent for City Meet. 
    • Family sponsorships are still available for $100. You will have your name or special message on our website and our weekly emails. Reply to this email if interested.
    • Keep up the good sportsmanship & team spirit. Remind our little Sharks to stay in the pool until everyone from the heat is finished. Shake hands with the swimmers on either side of you and continue to be an amazing Shark!
    • We encourage our Big Sharks to be at the edge of the pool to cheer on the Littles and our Little Sharks to cheer on the Bigs. Team spirit is one of the most joyful parts of summer swim.  Let’s make some noise & GO SHARKS!
