Merry SharkMas! City Meet 2023 is going to be amazing.  The Sharks (their coaches & support staff) have worked so hard this season and will finish strong!

The pool address is 19 Van Cleve St, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742. If you drive around to the back of the pool to Gilbert Drive, you will be able to park in a field much closer to our tent.  Thanks to our amazing sponsors who make the rental of the tent possible! 

A few last minute reminders & updates:

• All the meet details and Psych Sheet can be found at the CASL website 
• Heat sheets are here and via CASL and McCallie/GPS Aquatics websites. There will be no heat sheet sales at the meet.
• There are just a few volunteer spots for timers we still need filled.  See the Swimtopia Website to sign up.
• Swim caps must be a StH cap, solid color or an Emily’s Power for a Cure cap. We will have Shark caps for sale $15 new & $5 vintage caps. There are still some shirts in children’s sizes and adult small available for just $5.
• No tech suits for any swimmer under 12.
• The 6 & under events are only on Saturday, but some of our youngest swimmers may be in an 8 & under event. Check the psych sheet for the most accurate information on which sessions your swimmer will race. Parents may walk their swimmer to the deck but may NOT go into the bullpen area.
• There will be a clerk of course for the 10 & under sessions and all swimmers in finals will need to go to the clerk of course. Relays will report directly to the block and NOT to the clerk of course for the 10 & under session. Finals relays WILL come to the clerk of course so we can verify they are all present and so they can be paraded. Top seed swimmers may request a walk-out song.
• Swimmers should check in with coaches after each event.  We have some awesome surprises in store for our Sharks thanks to all the parents who helped clear our wish list!  

• Relays will be posted via Remind app during the meet. If you’ve not yet, please join @e7eh68. Rain delays are a strong possibility this weekend. We will communicate all changes via Remind.
• Any swimmer who does not scratch and fails to report to the blocks of a Final Event will cause their team to be fined $25 per instance. It is so important you return for finals if you qualify! Top 16 individual swimmers +2 alternates will swim finals. Top 8 relays will swim finals.   You can see above why hard work is so important. Every point counts and the team with the most points wins! Have FUN and swim FAST!

City Meet Schedule:

Sharks end of season celebration is Sunday, July 10 at the Stuart Heights pool, 6-9pm.

• We need side items (slaw, fruit, vegetable trays), desserts and paper items to finish the meal. Please sign up via the SwimTopia web event
• BYO chair and beverages.
• Tips for the chef graciously accepted. 
• As always, we will watch the weather and post updates via Remind.
• Wear your suit and be ready for a casual, fun, end of season Shark celebration.
