Greetings Sharks! Your StH Swim Team Board met last week and are excited about the upcoming season! We hope you have had a fantastic fall and are enjoying the peace of winter. We are looking forward to spring and are anticipating a fantastic SUMMER!

• To continue our rock star swim team, we must fill our VP and Volunteer Coordinator positions and adding a Member at Large would be an awesome bonus. If you are interested or think you might be interested, please reply to this email or reach out to any of the board members to join our crew.

Job descriptions:

• The Vice President will be in charge of registration, printing the heat sheets before meets, and organizing our volunteer spots online. This is a great “behind the scenes” position and perfect for folks who are tech savvy. VP does not necessarily mean you matriculate into the President position but it is a possibility if you are interested.
• The Volunteer Coordinator will ensure that we have volunteers signed up for the meets, send email reminders, and prep the timer clip boards, pencils, & stopwatches for home meets. Someone with a more flexible schedule would be a great fit for this position. (VC could be split between two people.)
• Member at Large would jump in and assist any board member who needs coverage due to work, travel, or whatever might come along the pipe. Anyone who is interested in joining the board and needs a soft entry point would benefit from this spot.

• Registration will open March 22. Please spread the word and invite your friends far and wide. You are our best advertisement for the team and we welcome all swimmers to join the Shark side.
• The nitty gritty - please take a look at the budget report. You can see that we charge our members only what we need to survive but in order to thrive, we really, really need help. We require sponsorships to rent the huge City Meet tent and our storage unit. This year we’d like to purchase City Meet shirts, plus are desperate for new lane lines, and a storage reel. Please consider helping as s a $1000, $500, $250, or $100 level sponsor. Great White Shark sponsorships paid before April 15 will have their logo printed on the 2024 team shirt! • If you or your business would like to sponsor our new storage reel, we will be able to add your logo or business name to the equipment. This is a long term investment that we require to take care of our lane lines.
