a few notes: Prep Party, City Meet, Relay Challenge
07.10.24
Wow! Just WOW! Thanks to everyone who helped clear our City Meet wish list. We just have one box of Sharpie markers left from a long list of desires. You guys are amazing.
If you are coming to the City Meet Prep Party on Thursday after practice, please bring a plastic grocery bag to take your tie-dye shirt home. The dye will need to set and the shirt will be wet. If you have extra bags or plastic gloves to share, please bring them! We did get the shipment of City Meet shirts in for the swimmers (yay!) which could be used for tie-dye—otherwise, BYO. Shirts not picked up Thursday morning will be at City Meet.
We would like to have a Phone Free Friday and Screenless Saturday and are rounding up some lawn toys (cornhole, ladder toss, spike ball, etc.) to encourage our swimmers' camaraderie between events. If you have any games or activities to bring along, please do as we would love to offer our swimmers several tech-free options.
Hurrah! Our CM pavilion has picnic tables, electricity, and bathrooms! Whoo hoo! Please enter the area from the Gilbert Street gate for the closest parking. (You may bring your own tents, tables, and chairs as well.)
Can the Chlorine Connoisseurs, Dunk 'n Go Nuts, Nautical Ninjas, Prehistoric Speed, Stewie Talls, or STH-A "The A Relay" overtake the Coolest Coaches Club? We will find out this Sunday at the first annual Parent vs Coaches Relay. So far the Chlorine Connoisseurs are in the lead with their fundraising goal and you can sponsor your favorite relay team here Plus, we are still looking for a group of valiant alumni to brave the waves. Sign up here if you dare.....
Looking forward to a fun adventure in the days ahead and we will see you soon!
