    Important info, read to end!

    June 6th

    What a great and fun way to start the season!  I know it was rainy, I know it was cold, and I know it was long, but I also know that our Sharks will never forget that time they swam at Fairyland overlooking the city in the pouring down rain and they won!  That's the stuff of memories that summer swimming is all about.  They may not even remember if we won or lost, but they'll remember the fun they had! 

    Lots of info in this email, so please read to the end. 

    1.  Thanks to all of our coaches and volunteers for working so hard on the meet last night!  1st meet is always challenging (especially in the rain), but you all were great! yes

    2.  Please remember to RSVP for any meet that you will not attend.  The coaches will enter as many relays as they can, but if someone doesn't show up and doesn't RSVP, that means 3 other kids don't get to swim on those super awesome relays!  So, RSVP! smiley

    3.  Please sign up for text messaging to stay informed. 

    This season we will be using Rained Out, a text messaging system to send important info. You must opt-in by sending the text "sharks4life" to 84483.

    ​If prompted, search for Stuart Heights Swim Team. You will be asked to enter your cellphone number on which you wish to receive messages


    4.  Pink meet is Saturday - We have only received a few registrations, please get those turned in by tomorrow morning.  You can turn the forms into Wendy or Max.  The cost is $5/event and the proceeds go to Emily's Power for a Cure.

    5.  Hospitality for the Pink Meet - We need a few food donations for hospitality at the Pink meet, could you donate some bagels, fruit, biscuits, granola bars, yogurt, etc?  Please email Wendy @[email protected] if you can.

    6.  I'm attaching a sponsorship form for this swim season.  If you or your family or friends own a business that would like to donate to our Swim Team, please let us know.  Our current budget does not meet all of our fiscal needs and we need to supplement that with sponsorship so that we do not have to raise our swim team fees.  Every donation helps! 

    I know that was a lot of info and I hope I covered everything.  If you have any questions, please let me or any other board member know.  Our next meet is Monday night at Signal.  Always a tough meet for us, but I believe we are ready for the challenge this year!
