Pink Meet Registration
We had a great first full week of practice!
We have 2 meets next week; one at Fairlyand, and one at STH - The Pink Meet.
If your child was at practice this morning, they should have received a Pink Meet registration form, but I know not all were there and I wanted to send you some extra information.
Pink Meet is a fundraiser for Emily's Power for a Cure, which is a Childhood Cancer Foundation started in memory of Emily Ransom - sister of Jon Pat, Max, and Molly Ransom. Emily's Power for a Cure funds research to find a cure for neuroblastoma, a type of childhood cancer. We have the Pink Meet in June to celebrate Emily's birthday on June 28, she would be 14 this year.
Teams from all over the city are invited to participate in the meet, so it should be a lot of fun. We do have volunteer positions still available, so please check the website to volunteer.
I am attaching the registration form for those who weren't there this morning and others who may have lost theirs. You can turn that form into the coaches on Monday along with a check made out to Emily's Power for a Cure. The cost of registration is $5/event.
