    City Meet 2016

The end of another great season is coming to a close this weekend at City Meet 2016 tomorrow and Saturday! Who is excited??? Hopefully everyone, because this is a F-U-N meet! We have a strong team! (For those who didn't see the article, we finished the regular season as runner-up for the Blue Division behind Signal Mountain!)

Before City Meet begins, there are a few things you need to know about...

    1. The meet will be held indoors at Baylor School Natatorium on the Baylor School campus.

    2. This is a large meet with all 15 teams from the 3 divisions of CASL present.

    3. This is a pre-lims and finals meet. Please check with the coaches before leaving to see if you need to come back for finals. Even if you will not be swimming at finals, it is always fun to come cheer on the Sharks at finals! Go Sharks!

    4. We have a specified "crash area" in the gym adjecent to the pool. (More info attached.) You will want to bring blankets, chairs, coolers, etc. to this area, and this will be open beginning today 4p-6p, if you would like to set up today. All STH swimmers need to stay in this area when not swimming. Please note that no coolers, blankets, chairs, etc. will be allowed in the spectator stands.

    5. Please have your child at the pool 15 minutes before thier warm-up time begins. (Warm-up assignements are attached.)

Friday: 10 & Under 1st warm-up 7:15a-7:45a in the Suntrust pool (competition end of the pool); 11 & Over 1st warm-up 11:30-12:00 in the Chattem pool (diving end)

Saturday: 10 & Under 2nd warm-up 7:45a-8:15a in the Chattem pool (diving end); 11 & Over 2nd warm-up 12:00p-12:30p in the Suntrust pool (competition end)

    6. Heat sheets for pre-lims will be sold in the lobby of the pool. Heat sheets for finals will be online ONLY. They can be found at www.baylorswimming.org.

    7. At this meet, no one will be allowed on the pool deck without proper credentials except for the athletes. Please cheer on the Sharks (and other teams) from the stands. It is easy to move from the crash area to the spectator areas.

    8. Shirts: Please have your swimmers wear their red tie-dyed tanks tomorrow (Friday) and their Shark4Life t-shirts on Saturday.

    9. This is a longer meet, especially if you have a 10&Under and an 11&Over. Please make sure that you have healthy snacks packed for you and your swimmers. Concessions will be available, but it is not full-service. (Approximate timeline attached.)

    10. We have a few plush shark hats available. They are $10, and we will have them at City Meet in our crash area.

    11. Make sure your swimmers have their swim suit, cap and goggles with them.

See everyone tomorrow! Let's get ready for another SHARK ATTACK!!!
