Make-up meet with Dalton, Fun Night, Sr. Night and City Meet

Thank you to everyone who came out last night! I know we would have put on a great meet, but Mother Nature had other plans for us. We hope everyone made it home to watch a great night of Olympic Trial Swimming.

STH vs Dalton: The meet has been rescheduled to next Wednesday, July 6th with a warm-up time of 4:30 pm and meet start time of 5:30 pm. There will be a new meet created on the website for this home meet vs. Dalton on the STH website. Please be on the lookout for that and RSVP. The coaches will need to know who will or will not be there to create a new lineup. Let's show up BIG and ready for another SHARK ATTACK!

We will also need our volunteer slots filled for this night. If you were a volunteer originally for this meet and are able to make the rainout date of 7/6, please consider filling a slot. It is because of our parent volunteers that we are able to host great meets for our children to showcase all they have learned over the season!

Sr. Night: Senior Night at STH will be held during the break at the STH vs. Dalton meet on 7/6. If you have a senior swimmer, please let respond to this email to let us know whether your swimmer will or will not be attending.

Tie-dye and ice cream social: To help our sharks (and minnows) prep for City Meet, we will host a Tie-dye and ice cream social in place of night practice on Tuesday, 7/5. We will be tie-dying shirts for the kids to wear for City Meet. If you are not able to attend, yet are attending City Meet, do not fret! Your child's shark or minnow will assist in making sure their shirt is dyed. Stay tuned for further info on this topic.

Stuart Heights Award: During the last home meet of the season (STH vs. Dalton on 7/6), we will be taking ballots for the Stuart Heights Award. This is an award that goes to the swimmer who has shown great spirit throughout the season. The ballot box will be located at the Volunteer Table in front of the restrooms. Please make sure to stop off and vote!

City Meet: City is FUN, FUN, FUN!!! It will be held indoors at the Baylor School Natatorium with a crash area in the adjacent Field House (gym). Each team will have a specified crash area. Bring your folding chairs, blankets and snacks with you. This is a longer meet than a typical dual meet and is a prelims/finals meet. I have attached the meet info here to this email, but the most important things to know are that 10 and unders swim in the morning, 11 and overs in the afternoon and finals are swam in the evening. (We will give more specifics as City Meet approaches.)

Note: We apologize for any mix ups, but we have realized that an email went out yesterday with the heading "No Practice on Friday." This is incorrect! There WILL be practice this Friday morning as scheduled.
