Pink Meet
Please see the information below regarding the Pink Meet. Let's all try to be at this meet and show our support!
On Wednesday night, June, 24 we will celebrate The Pink Meet at Stuart Heights Pool as Stuart Heights faces Signal Mountain. The Pink Meet celebrates the life of Emily Ransom, who would be a 12 year old swimmer for the Sharks, as we celebrate her 12th birthday on June 28. Emily’s brothers, Jon Pat and Max and her little sister Molly are currently swimmers at Stuart Heights. We will also honor Tristin Greer, a former Stuart Heights swimmer, who recently joined Emily in heaven after a 5 year battle with nueroblastoma. This meet will raise money and awareness for Emily’s Power for a Cure through the sale of t-shirts, swim caps, water bottles and more. Prices range from $1-$30.
Emily’s Power for a Cure is a 501c3 charitable organization that funds research for childhood cancer and helps local neuroblastoma families who are fighting this disease with meals, support and financial assistance.
I hope you will join us in honoring their lives and helping us to raise money to find a cure for childhood cancer.
Don’t forget to wear your pink on both sides of the pool, because on Wednesday, we join together to fight cancer.
